Diane Means: the app keeps crashing every time I try to save to the hub. It saves to my photos just fine. when it crashes, the message tells me that I should re-install once PicMonkey fixes what is wrong. By the way, I’ve been a PicMonkey user for 12 years and I’ve already deleted and re-installed the app 5 times.
Dalton A.: you have to sign up for an account before you can even get past the startup screen. similar apps allow you to take a test drive and look around before they ask you to sign up. the fact picmonkey doesn’t shows their ignorance and thirst for making money off putting your email on a list so they can sell it regardless if you use their service or not. uninstalled.
Nic M-R: Very disappointing. I can no longer get into this app without signing up for a subscription. I even had already paid for an add-on feature inside the app and no longer have access to that. But I guess those must be done away with this forced subscription? And I had been getting a strange green outline around my images whenever I would try to edit my pics right before this change. ????? Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it was good while I was able to use it.
Kristi Jacobs Williams: What the heck happened? It was my go to app for on the fly social media post graphics creation for at least a year, within past few days it won’t even start up. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, etc but keeps freezing. Before this week I’d have given it a solid 4 stars, but seems so unstable now I’m going to have to delete it and move on.
Dianna Keown: I used to love this app! I like to upload and edit pictures on my phone, but lately it glitches or is very slow. If I select Upload or My Hub, I get a “Start free trial” button. The only thing to do is click it or exit out. When I click start free trial it says I have already purchased. I can’t do anything on the app anymore. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I have contacted support 2 or 3 times with no response. That is unacceptable.
Ashley In Beauty Land: I LOVE the desktop version of PicMonkey, but the mobile app (android) is seriously lacking. It freezes every time I open it, and I have to force stop several times before it will work. The photo editing side is fine, and is my preferred app for enhancing photos, but don’t bother trying to make graphics on the app. If I can’t get to my laptop to use the desktop interface, I use a different app to create graphics, which is really inconvenient. I wish the app was more like Canva for mobile.
Brittney Gohr: Fraction of their website’s offerings in terms of editing tools. On top of that you need to pay extra on the app for access the “premium features” like smooth, sculpt, and blemish fix. Normally I’d say eff it, but even their website is bogged down and slow now, too. Makes it painfully hard to edit any photos across either of their platforms. Shame too, as this used to be my go-to on the web for editing photos. Guess I have to start learning photoshop.
A Google user: I had a pro membership for several years and enjoyed using it. For some reason it is no longer compatible with my computer. I decided not to renew. It is no longer user friendly and it is pretty much worthless if you can’t save or send images without the por platform. Regrettably I am uninstalling.
A Google user: I thought it would be like the PC version. But for photos its options are limited. I’ll keep looking for a better photo editing app. I’d like an app with a combo of other apps. I’d rather not have to screenshot while using a combo of apps to get the effects I want to acheive.
A Google user: It used to be the best free online editor. Now it requires a paid version to download creations as well as a lot of other features. We waited over a year for the cell version and was disappointed at how limited it was. Now you have to do a free trial or pay for one to use it at all, so basically it’s not a free app. ?
